USMC FILBE Rucksack Military Surplus

The USMC FILBE (Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment) Pack was designed to be the standard issue upgrade for a Marines load carry system and able to use in conjunction with body armor. Its popularity has also grown to become a great bush craft backpack in civilian life. The big improvement in this pack was a better, more comfortable way to transport heavy loads for active field use. 

The Marine Corps issue FILBE backpack system has a more conventional internal frame with a large quantity of structural back padding and support. The shoulder and heavy duty waist belt/kidney pad are adjustable to almost any size.

The material used in this FILBE pack is made of very durable waterproof coated nylon that is designed to take real abuse. The main area of the pack is organized with a removable divider allowing you to create a 3400 cu. in. internal pocket compartment and a lower 1600 cu. in. compartment which is plenty of space for a sleeping bag or other equipment.  MOLLE / PALS webbing is surrounding the pack to add sustainment pouches, external hydration, or any MOLLE type gear you may need. 

What we also love about these packs is that they can break down to the frame, main pack, compression straps, waist, and shoulder straps in order to repair or replace any part as necessary.

This way you don't need to purchase a brand new FILBE pack when something breaks, just buy the replacement part and you're good to go!  The same rings true with the MOLLE pouches as you can repair or replace individual pouches.

Even though the FILBE Rucksack was primarily designed with combat in mind, it can be used by hunters, people hiking, and survivalists alike. Think about it this way, if the Marine Corps is using it in faraway places during extended periods of outdoor operations, then you should know that you will be able to count on it for your own adventures.

In order to get you the best possible FILBE pack, each one is unassembled and professionally inspected making repairs as needed. We take care to inspect the frame and ensure the many buckles and straps included with the product are in good working condition. 

To keep up with high demand and rising costs, we are now offering the FILBE un-assembled. The pack is in 4 main parts, Frame, complete shoulder assembly, hip belt, and the main pack. Assembly takes only 20-30 minutes and can easily be completed at home. Knowing how to construct your pack will also help you in the future to make any needed adjustments.

The Generation 2 1606M Frame is now available for a limited time as an upgrade for those who need it. As you know, Marines tend to be hard on their gear. The 2nd generation is made to significantly increase its strength and durability in the field under combat conditions. In most civilian use cases the original frame works perfectly fine, but if you feel you are just as hard on your gear as a Marine is, we wanted to bring this offer to you. We have all the equipment you will ever need! The upgraded Gen2 frames may come with some hairline fractures but will not affect the performance of this gear.

All items are in good usable condition with plenty of life left; however, conditions will vary due to being actual used marine corps issue military surplus. We inspect all items and make professional repairs if and when needed. 

Some frames may have stains, writing, color fading, small repairs, or surface rust but no holes larger than a pin. Some of the frames may have a hairline fracture but not a full crack and does not affect the frames performance. If an issue does happen to come up, we will be more than happy to make it right. 

Un-Repaired Option: A great do it yourself option.  To meet production needs we are offering items that you can repair yourself.  This gear meets our normal used standard grade and has not yet been repaired. This gear will have either a repairable rip, hole, missing part or broken buckle that we would normally fix. Zippers, frames etc will all be functional and we included any needed buckles when possible.

We offer free repairs on rips and tears that are able to be fixed. Structural damage that requires parts may incur additional charges depending on how many replacement parts are needed. Email pictures to customer service at.
